Damon Schindler was born on December 27th, 1972, on an air force base in Sacramento,California. In his first year of life, he moved with his family to the San Gabriel Valley in eastern Los Angeles. in 1994 he pursued his love of art by studying at the renowned California Institute of The Arts (CalArts). After obtaining his bachelor's degree in fine arts in 1997 he went on to share his knowledge by teaching art at an alternative high school in Los Angeles. He has spent the last four summers working with students selected for the California State Summer School for the Arts, producing individual film and video projects. Damon, who now lives between Mexico City and Los Angeles is constantly expanding the scope of his art and working to present his work in the public sphere. |

Damon Schindler, nacio el 27 de Diciembre del 1972, en un base de fuerza aerea en Sacramento, California. En su primer ano de vida se trasladaron al valle de San Gabriel, en el oriente de Los Angeles. En el 1994 para seguir en el camino hacia lo que mas amaba, empezo sus estudios en la escuela prestigiosa, California Institute of The Arts(CalArts). Despues de terminarla carreda en artes plasticas en el 1997 fue a compartir sus conocimientos del arte con jovenes en una preparatoria alternativa en Los Angeles. Ha pasado los ultimos cuatro veranos trabajando con jovenes en el programa de California State Sumer School for the arts, produciendo proyectos individuales en video y cine. Damon, quien ahora vive entre la ciudad capitalina de Mexico y Los Angeles, sigue luchando para abrir caminos en sus obras y preentando sus trabajos al publico |
